Robert Mello

Robert Mello graduated from Bristol-Plymouth Technical  in 1999 where he majored in Metal Fabrication and Welding. While at Bristol-Plymouth Technical, he competed in the SkillsUSA program where he placed second at the national competition. After graduation, he continued to work in the metal fabrication industry as a lead fabricator for Ryan Iron Works and later DeAngelis Iron Works. Robert has a business management degree and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education. 

Robert holds an unrestricted construction supervisors license, welding certifications, and is the president of his own miscellaneous metals company. In 2010, Robert entered the field of teaching as a metal fabrication and welding instructor at South Shore Technical. During his time at South Shore Technical,  he was the department head, union treasurer and president and spent six years as the SkillsUSA coordinator. In the fall of 2019, Robert joined the leadership team at South Shore Tech as the Dean of Students.
